OK, first of all, thank you EVERYONE for attending the signing. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the number of people as well as the excitement of the crowd. thank you thank you thank you!!!!
My book is now available at Lobo Bookstore and Brazos Bookstore in case you don't want to pay the shipping fee through PAYPAL. But, it will probably cost as much to drive to one of the bookstores!!! So do what you will.
PLEASE keep sending me your poetry so I can add the Other People's Poetry section. The B-SIDE poetry section is coming soon... All of the poems that didn't make the final edit of Indiana The Island (including the entire "On The Death Of A Constant Lover" and "Canines At The Coffee House part 2") will be there. OK!! The time is here... I'm doing my first Houston book reading/signing at Helios, Sept 24th, Wednesday at 8:00pm. It is important to get there early. I'll start right at 8:00. I'll be signing books and drinking too much with you all. At 10:00pm I'm hosting the wildest karaoke show in Houston at the Guava Lamp in Shepherd Square. It's rated "R" so bring your earplugs. That's karaoke, NOT the poetry reading!!! I hope to see you all there and write to me with questions!!!!
Don't forget that I update the poem of the week (EVERY WEEK!, usually)!! These are poems that probably won't end up in the next book- so read them while you can!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Well... Indiana The Island is finally here... I hope you all enjoy it. Please pick up a copy of OutSmart magazine (Houstonians) for a really cool article... (I'm on the cover with Tammy Faye and Jerry Hall!! *gulp*) and if you happen to want one and you are outside of Houston, contact me.
Also, let me reiterate how AMAZING the illustrations by Brandon Hancock from The Scattered Pages are. The originals will be available for purchase soon...
I'm very proud of this book... please don't hesitate to write to me. I love critique and compliment alike. And keep sending me YOUR poetry... I'll be picking out poems to post soon under a new link on the site, "Other People's Poetry."
Don't forget Wednesday, September 24th at Helios (formerly Mausoleum) at 8:00pm SHARP!!! There'll be a full bar, (smoking is totally allowed at the debaucherous little party) and MY MOTHER might even be there. We'll see. Keep watching the site.
