well well well. the joys of a new computer. everything i knew about photo editing is gone. so... all of the new and funny photos i wanted to post... well, they're just too big to fit on this page. i have to figure out how to edit them before i can post them.

so for now... let's go back to alaska... skagway, alaska to be exact.

glad to see y'all again.

welcome to skagway alaska. this was my favourite place.

before jason had to go back and work, he went with me into skagway (since he knows the town well) to show me a cool spot off the beaten path- a place the locals go. but along the way...

this is the train you can take into town... but i wanted to walk and see everything at my pace. all of the medalions on the mountain side are different ships that have docked in skagway's bay.

and the cute little ladies i kept seeing everywhere...

walking through town...

the skagway museum

toddicus at the welcome to skagway sign.

this is one of the smiling darlings waiting to serve you at the haven cafe...
i can't remember your name babe! please email me!

the haven cafe is on 9th and state street- waaaay off the beaten path- thank god. the tourists haven't bombarded this place.

i totally fell in love with this place. there's even an organic grocery connected to the building.

this is some kick-ass coffee and a toasted egg and spicy cream cheese sandwich. sooo good!

jason headed back to the ship and i went off to explore. this is just an ordinary house in this quaint little town. the population is about 800 in the winter and 2500 in the summer.

the alaskan state flag is everywhere- alaskans are very proud of their state.

a church i stumbled upon...

the golden north hotel.

i stopped at the red onion saloon a few times for some local beer... this used to be a whore house back in the day.

inside the red onion.

one of the "whore" servers- this is fireweed fanny. i think... i forgot their names!! sorry!

this is cocksucker kate. i didn't forget her name!!

what is your name!? i forgot! their names are so funny... i'm a horrible person. : ((

get a leg up babeeeeeeeeeeeeee

after a couple of beers i went on another exploring adventure.

skagway is known as the garden city. every yard had gardens... they grow everything you
can think of!

lots of rhubarb... one of my favourite vegetables.

this is a type of train designed to plow through snow.

all the info you ever wanted about the special snow-plowing train.

a monument to the early explorers.

later on i headed into the woods to follow a meandering stream and do some thinking
in the alaskan wilderness.

on the way back to the boat i found this winking dog.

local humour.

one last shot in my favourite alaskan town.

goodbye skagway.

this isn't alaska... but it's a teaser of some great shit to come.

later this week i'll take you through some of the south eastern passage of alaska and then off to victoria cananda.

i missed ya'll- send me your emails and thanks again for your patience.

XOXO

Past adventures of Toddicus:
